HTX Labs has announced the expansion of its EMPACT platform into a comprehensive mission readiness system designed to help military organizations measure, manage, and improve operational preparedness beyond traditional training programs.
The company said the platform now integrates mission knowledge, training, performance assessment, and readiness analytics into a unified system, providing military leaders with greater visibility into personnel proficiency and potential mission risks.
According to HTX Labs, the platform has evolved through years of collaboration with defense organizations seeking solutions that extend beyond training delivery. Instead of focusing solely on instruction, the system is intended to support the full readiness cycle by connecting training activities with operational performance and ongoing skill development.
The platform enables users to capture and analyze readiness data throughout different stages of mission preparation. By combining digital learning resources, technical documentation, assessment tools, and performance metrics, the system aims to provide commanders with actionable insights into workforce readiness and operational capability.
A key feature of the upgraded platform is its ability to operate in both cloud-connected and edge environments. HTX Labs said EMPACT is designed to function in low-bandwidth, disconnected, or contested operational settings where continuous internet connectivity may not be available. Data collected in these environments can later synchronize with cloud systems once network access is restored.
The company also emphasized the platform’s flexibility, noting that EMPACT is compatible with a variety of hardware devices and training content rather than requiring organizations to adopt proprietary systems. This approach is intended to simplify deployment while allowing defense agencies to integrate existing instructional materials and technology infrastructure.
HTX Labs stated that the platform currently maintains an Impact Level 4 (IL4) Authority to Operate (ATO) on NIPRNet, with Impact Level 5 (IL5) accreditation currently in progress. These certifications are intended to support secure deployment across defense enterprise environments.
Unlike conventional simulation platforms that primarily focus on training delivery, EMPACT is designed to connect learning outcomes with operational performance, helping organizations identify readiness gaps, monitor progress over time, and support data-driven decision-making.
Alongside the platform’s expanded capabilities, HTX Labs has also launched a redesigned corporate website highlighting its mission, technology offerings, and long-term vision for military readiness solutions.
The company said it expects the continued evolution of EMPACT to support defense organizations as they adopt more integrated and data-driven approaches to measuring force preparedness and mission effectiveness.
